Bahar is a double-sided single from genre-defying artist Rahill, released by Fisk in celebration of the coming of Spring, and Nowruz, the Persian new year.
Written intentionally in Farsi, the record moves between grief, memory, resilience, and renewal. Side A, “Yaar,” is a cinematic, yearning ballad built around dubby drums, spellbinding synths, and hypnotic Farsi lyrics. Side B features Rahill’s take on “Del Dareh Pir Misheh,” a deeper cut by Iranian psych icon Kourosh Yaghmaei.
